Strut & Fret are an Australian based, internationally acclaimed arts and events production company known for taking festivals by storm with their wild and eye-popping shows.

Their canon of smash hit productions features critics' favourites LIMBO, Cantina and La Soiree, while their stable of artists includes such names as Le Gateau Chocolat, Yana Alana, Tom Thum, The Candy Butchers and The Vaudevillians.

I worked with Strut & Fret during the 2015 Adelaide Fringe Festival to generate publicity for their stable of shows - Fear & Delight, Le Gateau Chocolat and Yana Alana - which all played to sell out houses and rave reviews.

Fear & Delight (Adelaide Fringe, 2015)

This never-before-seen gourmet circus extravaganza became the number one most talked about show of the 2015 Adelaide Fringe thanks to my publicity campaign which achieved blanket coverage across print, radio, TV and online.

A special media morning held in the show's custom made nightclub saw 50 hand-picked food and arts journalists, bloggers and social media influencers treated to an exclusive sampler of the show, its food and cocktails which generated major buzz ahead of opening night.

Coverage highlights included an eye-catching cover story in Blaze magazine, a full page story featuring special photo shoot on page seven of The Advertiser, a double page spread in The Adelaide Review, a full page feature in SA Weekend and a special feature story on Channel Seven's Today Tonight featuring stars of hit TV show "My Kitchen Rules".

Stories about the show also appeared in Aspire, SA Life, Sunday Mail, InDaily, Adelaide Matters, Rip It Up, Messenger Newspapers and nationally in The Daily Review, Arts Review, The Music and Virgin's inflight magazine Voyeur, as well as on Channels Nine, Ten and ABC, ABC radio and FiveAA.

Le Gateau Chocolat (Adelaide Fringe, 2015)

UK cabaret performer Le Gateau Chocolat needed a publicity campaign that would really slice through (pun intended) for the world premiere of his new show "Icons" at the 2015 Adelaide Fringe.

He became one of the most buzzed about acts after I scored him the cover of The City magazine in which he literally stopped traffic in a sequinned gown, and had him featured in a special photo shoot for The Australian, the only act from the 2015 Fringe line-up to be featured in the national paper.

Stories on Gateau appeared in The Advertiser, Sunday Mail, SA Weekend, The Weekend Australian, News.com.au, Messenger Newspapers, Indaily, with interviews on ABC 891, Radio Adelaide and on Channels Nine, Ten and Seven TV news.

Yana Alana (Adelaide Fringe, 2015)

Multi award-winning Melbourne cabaret star Yana Alana scored rave write-ups for her 2015 Adelaide Fringe show "Between the Cracks", with major articles appearing in The Advertiser, Sunday Mail, Blaze and LOTL magazines, The Music, Rip It Up and The City as well as interviews on Channels Nine, Ten and ABC TV news.
